Fill 'er Up

The other day George was commenting on his blog that the price of gas in NY was astronomical. In pure vanity, I proclaimed that the prices of gas here, where I live, (Mass.) were much, much lower. Then today, driving by my local Exxon, what did I behold? Prices that made my jaw drop. Last week, I know the cheapest was about $1.64-7, and the most expensive about $1.87. Then, golly gee, when I passed today, it was $1.96 for the cheapest, and $2.06 for the most expensive! That is nuts!! Good thing I try to gas up on Wacky Wenesdays, or is it Thrifty Thursdays? Whatever it is, that's when it's not so expensive. Another thing to add, I have a very good car when it comes to the economics of gas guzzling, and I only gas up, about every two and a half weeks. Pretty damn good huh?

Did anyone see the final Friends? I really didn't see, except the first five minutes. I tuned out a long long time ago. It "jumped the shark" even before Monica and Chandler hooked up, but that was a very big, dumb move. The first five mins. made me want to gag, when I saw that Monica looked more pregnant than the woman having twins. eh. It made me wonder why she woud have someone else's kids when she seemed able to have her own. Anyway, I'm glad its over... It was spiralling downwards.

Addendum dos:
I caught the Oprah interview with Brad Pitt, on his movie "Troy", and you know what? He's just eye candy and nothing more. It's so sad. I don't fantasize about Brad Pitt, but if I did, he'd be much more than eye candy. He would be funny and sarcastic and impish (or is the term "roguish") (haha, I just looked up the definition for roguish and one was "an individual exhibiting a chance and usually inferior biological variation"... maybe that is not the term)... anywho. He'd be smart, and witty and with it. But the Oprah interview confirmed my initial inklings... yes, I'm sorry to say it, Brad Pitt is a himbo, and this makes me like Jon Stewart a little more than I already do. Too bad they're both much older. Brad Pitt is 40! Geez, that's almost indecent. heh. Almost. He's still eye candy... suh-weet.

Do you know they make old people (senior citizen, to be pc) porn? Yes! Ew... Old people doing it, and other old people like watching it! (i just thought of something, maybe not-so-old-people like it too! Ugh) Yes... please don't ask me how I stumbled upon this fact. But i figured I'd share the "love". I wonder if they get to use their discount. haha.
