"Do It!"*

So the other night Rich and I saw "Starsky and Hutch" the movie with Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson. I don't know but when you put those two together, wow! It's magic! haha. Yeah it was a funny movie. I give it 3 stars (outta 4).

The other day we went kayaking. Ooh my arms were sore for a few days. We went to a new place. Actually it was at the beach/park we used to run at. It seems that all we can do is an hour and a half worth of rowing and no more. No matter what we say or how long we go the first half of the trip. This time was fun because it was new and because there were little twists and turns and more boats to be wary of. Especially the big 'uns that carry passengers over to the city. We went under a bridge and that was a little scary and fun. We didn't dare to look up just in case a chunk of bridge fell to our faces, or someone's burning cigarette butt hit us (but of course we did steal glances upward as we were going beneath it).

I figured it would be easier rowing back because the current and wind seemed to be going in our direction but I guessed wrong and we struggled back, fighting off other boats' wakes and bouncing up and down in our boat.

Good times had by all. Look at that, we're weekend warriors. Mountain biking and hiking, kayaking and kiting. Next it'll be rollerblading. heh. Or skiing! I want to try jet skiing. heh. Maybe the next one will be neckbreaking. No it'll be man huntin'! Too bad it's just the two of us. Man I wanna go paintball shooting out in the woods with a bunch of people. heh. Man is the next beast on the list.

Squirrels (gotta start out somewhere)
Deer (for the venison)
Wild boar (for the tusks)
Elephant (for the ivory)
Mountain Lion (for the hide)
Bear (needed a rug)
Tiger ('cause it lunged at us)
Man (overpopulation) (there are many other reasons too... add your own)

Yeah yeah I talk tough here but if I were to be ever shot with a paintball I would be down and crying like the girl I am. Maybe it'll just be those laser ones so no one gets seriously hurt. heh. Okay I gotta run. Have a good time all and remember "Do it!"

* "Do it" is a funny phrase that Ben Stiller says in S&H. He's in costume and he says it with a deepened voice. ah! Just watch the movie... or see the commercials on tv.
