Okay so take note, there are two polls!! One is in honor of Valentine's Day, which is this Saturday. If you don't have a Valentine don't answer the question...or pretend you do and make up an answer. The first poll is for tomorrow, Friday the 13th...there's always something a little strange about it. By the way, the fear of Friday the 13th is called "Paraskevidekatriaphobia". This is where it stems from (the friday the 13th superstition) "The sixth day of the week and the number 13 both have foreboding reputations said to date from ancient times; their inevitable conjunction from one to three times a year portends more misfortune than some credulous minds can bear. Folklorists say it's probably the most widespread superstition in America (and no doubt in other parts of the world, as well) — some people won't go to work on Friday the 13th; some won't eat in restaurants; many wouldn't think of setting a wedding on the date." <- this is from urbanlegends.about.com There's also the idea that Jesus, having been crucified on a friday, may have been crucified on friday the 13th. He was also the "13th" person in the last supper, with his 12 apostles. There are hotels in the U.S. that will not number the 13th floor. However, in other parts of the world and some religions consider 13 to be a lucky number...your pick.
