Me and My Big Mouth

Oh gosh this is amusing...Scientists from UPenn discovered this mutation in our jaw muscle that allowed for our jaw muscles to be weaker, unlike the other primates, (chimps and gorillas). The weaker muscle mutation caused room to grow thus creating a bigger brain and thus those early humans were smarter, therefore, more likely to elude death and pass on their genes. Now doesn't that make you wonder about people who have big mouths...It's jaw dropping, isn't it? For more info here's the article from the Seattle Times.
