Well not really. In actuality my legs were more sore riding our bikes around than walking Boston. Just to add one more thing to the biking soreness, there's a region that the bike seat hits, um... i guess it would be my pelvis bone, probably the ishium region, that hurts like a mofo after biking. It isn't my butt, cause that's got some cushion... anyway!
So Mike came up to Boston to check out Emerson College and I started out my journey by picking him up at South Station, similar to Grand Central but not quite so grand, nor central. But don't get me wrong, it's still big enough to hold a separate building for Greyhound buses, Amtrak and commuter trains, and the subway. It lacked grand central's many levels and the intricate maze of shops and subfloors, beauty and jaw dropping size. But I still had to hustle around to find Mike. After doing so we hopped on the red line to the green line to the Boylston street stop which lands us right in front of Emerson's Ansin Building. After that we walked around, looking at the many buildings that made up the college, then we headed over to Boston Common, which is similar to Central Park, but not quite grand, nor central. We walked around looking at the swan boats of the Public Gardens, then headed out to eat. After that we walked over toward Beacon Hill (pic below) where there was an awesome amount of people wandering around, singing (college acappella), meditating (for world strife), hanging signs (food not bombs) and just enjoying the day in general. We then hitched a ride on the red line to Harvard and walked around. Went into a stationery store for colorful envelopes, into Harvard Bookstore for dollar paperbacks, into the famous Coop, Harvard's other bookstore to look around, (that's a good store, and you know how much I love bookstores... haha) into Harvard's quad, watching the students play hacky sack (footbag), then tired as we were, decided to go home... not before I bought a cheap(er) fake harvard hoodie... sweet. Now that I think of it, i shoulda gave a dollar for one of the baked goods that the Harvard girls were selling in support of Kerry, or as they put it "to take back the white house". Oh well. After a long train ride home we headed to the mall for Mike's yu-gi-oh stuff... and some triversity cards for me (another scrabble like game, except played like rummy).

Tired... oh my aching feet.
